Cotto has now been awarded the new WBB (world boxing board) belt. Wlad has (as did Lennox Lewis) the IBO belt and I dunno if the WBU n other mickey mouse titles are still floating around out there...but why do fighters accept these? James Toney...he has a belt doesnt he? Doesn't it make a mockery of the sport of boxing...were will it end? What causes these new belts to come into existance? Is it $$$?? Does Wlad pay a sanctioning fee for his IBO belt? Why does he bother? I dont get it really.
