Looking at your Twitter account it states that if you purchase the first year before 24th June, you'll get the 2nd year free??? also, the 9.99, is that in $$$ or £££.

Probably a silly question, but is this aimed more at the British public or the American's?

Either way, it does represent good value, I used to get an eMag from a former F1 Racing team and was always a good read, so I've no issue with an online publication. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying in!

Keep us posted on when we can start to subscribe.

Can't say it's worth subscribing for me, unfortunately. I get all my boxing news and articles from various websites.

But best of luck with it all!

You only need to look at the image licensing prices on Getty or Corbis for example to see just how expensive it is to put a magazine together.

For example, for the Archie Moore feature - even for very old images, which are less expensive, you will be paying £185 to use a licensed photo from Bettmann/CORBIS.

This is why these magazines are so difficult to put together. If you don't buy in your images you guaranteed to end up with a lawsuit in your lap, but if you do keep it above board you need cash flow and subscribers.

Buncey wouldn't mind me telling you that even established printed magazines like Boxing Monthly have to drop images due to cost.

    I'll confirm on the 2nd year free offer. It's £9.99 and $9.99

It's aimed at the world. We've mainly got a British writing team but we get a lot of the names from abroad.

    Appreciate your support.

And of course I will keep this thread open as to when we can subscribe.

Note: Carl Frampton may be writing a monthly column for us. I'm just waiting on confirmation.

I'll definitely be getting this, boxing e-zines are the way forward, the way we consume news has changed. For the interviews you seem to have lined up I can see it's definately worth the price, although keeping a boxing magazine fresh will be a tough challenge you'll need to look at every aspect of the sport from the local gyms to the big fights, there needs to be something that everyone can enjoy.

As an idea, what about producing it into an APP? That updates daily with the latest news on boxing?

Yep magazines are pointless for news but I think if you want proper quality in-depth articles then you can't beat BN or BM.

Just a small update on what's coming up with the magazine.

Interviewing Abner Mares tomorrow for August issue
We will also have exclusive interviews with the likes of Andre Ward and Darren Barker in future issues.
