I dont see anything gay in it, but I agree it has little or almost no value. Every boxer fight differently. This takes into account just two things.
Very bad statistic... Where is Manny Pacquiao? And what the **** is Calvin Brock doing above Miguel Cotto or anybody for that matter?
I checked it twice to make sure:huh I guess if you pad your record with nobodies and knock them all out your the man on the "The Tyson Index" ( Edwin Valero's best opponent was 24-1-1 Vicente Mosqueraatsch )
Still, it can be an interesting, though probably useless, metric. He tries to remove the padding aspect by only using ranked fighters and only the 10 previous fights. Also remember that his system just tells you how exciting someone is and not how good they are. I don't know if it will work, but it's a novel idea.
thats what i was thinking.....if they plan on using this they are def. gonna have to tweak the system a little bit
yeah paul williams is up there. paul williams ain't knocking out ****. or to be more percise the only fighters he could knock out are ****.
what a dumb statistic, i started reading it and just closed the window after reading the first sentence.
Interesting article. It needs some twisting though or maybe a lot of twisting. In the end, it will be just an article so that we have something to read. It is supposed to rank the most exciting boxers in the sport but the most exciting boxer, Manny Pacquiao, is not even listed.
