As we all know 2011 was a pretty bad year for British Boxing as Khan, Haye and Froch all lost their world titles.

However, there are a few potentials coming through the ranks in the likes of Groves, DeGale, Mitchell and Kell Brook to name a few.

How do you all see British Boxing in 2012 and does anyone see any new British world Champions.

I feel that Kell Brook will definitely make an impact this year and feel he can definitely take a title especially if he gets a shot at Senchenko and I'm positive Khan will win back a World title at some point, which could be a potentially mouth watering British clash between Brook and Khan. Also feel that if Mitchel gets his personal life in order, he may have a chance of claiming a title. Also Ajose Olusugen is well overdue a shot and Morales should give him a shot for sure, and I'm confident that Ajose would take that. Groves and Degale also have possibilities but feel both need a little more work especially as 168 with the division full of top notch opposition.

    What are your thoughts:

Kell Brook - Maybe if he fights the WBA champ.

Mitchell - Possibly. LW scene has gone dry again.

Olusegun - Possibly, if they give him his shot at Morales.

    Chisora - No.

    Fury - No.

    Groves - No.

    DeGale - No.

Khan - Possibly, if he get's the rematch with Peterson.

Carl Froch - No, not this year.

This is based for 2012 by the way.

Probably Khan, Froch to me wouldnt beat Bute, Ward and if Kessler beats Stieglitz he loses to Kessler again

Brook maybe 147 IBF has Jones vs Bailey, WBA is Senschenko vs Malinaggi, WBC Floyd but it may go vacant and in that case the number 1 is Aydin and WBO is Manny

not sure how Brook does vs those guys

Exactly how I have it, even though I think Froch has a slight chance of beating Bute.

Afolabi & Brook have the best chance, Khan will probably win a world title if not this year then soon after.

Khan will obviously win a title from someone this yr, whether it be Peterson, Bradly or even Morales.
I'd really like to see him put the past behind him though and take on Berto/Ortiz or for that matter Brook for supremacy as the top British 140-154 fighter.:deal

Kell Brook and Amir Khan are locks for a world title this year imo, Carl Froch at a stretch but if not 2013 he'll pick something up

I thought Olusegun was from Nigeria and is now living and fighting out of New York.

He is from Nigeria but representing Britain and lives in North London. I think you're confused with Ola Afolabi.
