Power punches in 3rd were tied 14-14. Garcia also caught Khan with 2 left hooks in the 2nd that stopped Khan in his tracks.
Garcia's an underrated fighter, he's solid in all areas but above that he's a winner with mental toughness and adaptability which trumps most with better physical gifts. He'll be around the champion level for a long time, may not be Ring champion forever but we'll be hearing about him for another decade and by the time he's done he will have carved out a very good career. Only dude with a chance aganst him at 140 is Matthysse. He has a great body attack and a great variety of punches, he hits hard, his D is underrated (he was ctaching a lot of Khans best work int he early rounds on his guard), he's an excellent counter puncher, solid chin, ability to adapt mid round, sets traps with throw away punches that make him look sloppy then bam he catches you! I really like the kid.
'He was setting up that left hook from the opening bell' true 'he was forcing exchanges' not true, it was khan who was forcing the exchanges
I could give a rats ass about perfection this kid is good period so what he has some flaws, he has KTFO out of his last two opponents and he is excitig to watch
The kid personifies the word "fighter" and his intangibles outweigh most god given physical gifts......talk all the **** you want but this guy has tons of fortitude and you can't teach that.
Danny's a good 140 pounder, but he isn't close to top-**** at 140. At least three fighters hurt him *imo*
