That sure seems to be the case...If Haye would have just worked his way to either Klit. brother than thats a different story, but when you've made all of this noise, in which Haye has done, then its going to look rather bad if you dont live up to your own words. For the longest, I was interested on how Haye would fight either brother....Will he make it a good fight?? Will he be the one to dethrone the KLit. bros.??? But as of lateley...I've been very frustrated at Haye for robbing us fans...He shouldnt have never opened his mouth like that if he's going to do this type of business!:-(
Haye is officially a ***** and his fans (99% of them Brits mind you, which is sad for a guy with his skill set) are delussional. This fight against Audley would actually have its time and place (eg., when Haye first came into the division OR after he fought K-bros, as a reward) only because it makes some financial sense. But in the context of Haye cowering out of a fight with either K-Bro multiple times, or Adamek, or even Povetkin or Chambers, this looks like a total cop out. Total rubbish. I've been saying this for months and months now and its even more true now - Haye has zero credibility at HW. He's an emperor with no clothes. LOL at the SAVIOUR and at some of his bamboozled fans trying to convince us this fight has any merit. :rofl
bet haye-harrison never happens. what many don't understand is that it'd make him a household name in britain and sell 1million PPVs and draw a huge live gate. if this fight doesn't happen, some ppl will have been proven to have totally overreacted. but what's new on a forum. we know haye doesn't want to fight jab and grab wlad in germany. not many ppl do. but itlooks like povetkin - the mando - is fighting wlad. methinks haye fights vitali, a massive fight in britain (due to lennox-vitali rivalry) and big enough for a big HBO payday also. however, don't expect negotiations to be completed right away. both guys are promoters and these days no one fights big fights unless the deal is absolutely right for them.
Ok so again 22 of 25 in England atsch now how is he a road warrior? and rememeber you claimed that its the yanks who don't travel... oh and Froch has fought 24 of 27 in the UK, Hatton 40 of 47 Calzage 40 of 46 in the UK man you sure have a bunch of road warriors there :yep:nut
Are you guys kidding me? The stupidity that flys round this site is astounding. Without question,if Haye was to fight Audley next he would be rightly deemed a ducker and lier based upon his bold statements. However, and the word however is extremely important in this next sentence,Haye has not signed a fight with Audley and judging by the statement made by Booth,it is still extremely unlikely and is nothing more than a option. If you dislike Haye for not fighting a Klitschko yet then fine, hate away,if you beleive he faked injury because he was scared (which is a pretty laughable accusation) then fine hate away....But do not start condemning someone who has not put pen to paper and still looks very unlikely on what would definately be a joke of a fight. The fight will not happen and the Haye - Klitschko battle will eventually be settled in the ring, just hopefully sooner rather than later. Haye fans keep the faith,as per usual subjective apparant fans of boxing are twisting stories to their own bitter tune.
What bugs me is why David Haye is consistently rated #3 among heavyweights when he won't fight credible opponents. Rank him #5, maybe #6 or 7, behind K2, Adamek, Povetkin, and maybe also Chagaev and/or Chambers. Rank him lower....give him some incentive to fight credible contenders. I will be eager to watch the fight with Harrison but he is slow as hell and is currently recovering from injury. Granted Audley doesn't have many fights left in him so he needs his pay-day soon but Haye should take on Adamek first, then fight Audley in the Spring. But oh wait...fighting Adamek jeopardizes the big pay-day for Harrison and Haye. My bad.
Are you serious? Every single fighter will fight domestically at the start of their career with exception to very, very few.It is only if they reach the world stage, that their will come a time where they have the option to either venture out,or attempt to attract the big stars to their own stomping ground. When that time was called upon for Haye, not for one second did he dwell or try to lure the fights to extremely marketable British arena, but he got on the plane and delivered the goods without question.
I'd say his credibility is basically trashed at this point. He's had two years to effectively market himself as a marquee heavyweight, and in all that time he has backed out of fights with both Klitschko brothers to face Nikolay Valuev, John Ruiz and now Audley Harrison. CONCLUSION - Forget about Haye, and move on....
Sure it would, if Haye didn't already call out the Klitschkos. But he did. :deal Now he doesn't want any part of either of them. That's the result, Haye is the British Champion only, not a world champion.
That's a little bit difficult to do when the same mongs start multiple threads using obscure and biased quotes to justify their agenda, isn't it. It's all publicity for Haye. He'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
England to France. That is like, what? Crossing Rhode Island? England to Germany. Like crossing Missouri? Yep, real road warrior there.... :yep
