New Dublin show points to a Bernard Dunne return?

I'd prefer to see Willie Casey V Martinez to be honest.

 

Too early for Casey to be fighting at European level

 

The judges had Cordoba leading 92-95, 91-96, 90-97

Cordoba wasn't that far ahead but he was winning in a lot of people eyes.

In my eyes Dunne was winning by a landslide when I watched it live but then again I was mashed when I watched it.

A re-watching showed Cordoba was slightly ahead in my view maybe a couple of rounds.

 

Poonsawat was quoted as saying that, but then closer to the fight with Dunne he was quoted as saying the opposite(a truer assertion of what Dunne was), saying he was very skilled but lacked power.

I had Cordoba up by 3 leading into the 11th round btw.

 

The punching power bit was obviously wrong but I think Poonsawat was right about Cordoba's preparations for Dunne.

The hard punching Poonsawat having problems putting Cordoba down doesn't tally with the lighter punching Dunne decking the Panamanian.

It seemed clear that Cordoba was gassing from early on.

Dunne was a bit of a tehnical wiazard but he wasn't the most physically strong when giving and taking a punch. He had a good career and was always honest and hard working, I'm a fan.

He was an 11 time amateur champion and won both the EBU and WBA titles. He achieved more in his career than the majority of boxers in the world today ever will.

Normally I'd agree but Casey is not in the game for the long run.
He is being managed in the fast lane and his career seems to be all risk which gives your point all the more credibility. That said- the reason why casey is a fan favourite is because of his constant step up in class. I think he could beat martinez as long as he gets some 10 round and 12 round experience in his next couple of fights.

Here we go. Caballero mentioned again. Why dont I keep mentioning the fact thet Martinez ****ed Dunne but Munroe spanked Martizez twice??! I dont mention it because its irrelevant just like Caballero. Im matching Dunne, Munroe and Booth and their capabilities against EACH OTHER. In my opinion Dunne would struggle with Munroe's size and workrate and Jason Booth is a better boxer than Dunne. Simply as that.
