    - says he only wants 4-5 big names. This concerned me a bit. Filling 16 shows with only 5 big names would be a stretch. Broner, Charlo, Mikey would all be "big names".
    - Espinoza claimed Broner made *at least* 2.25 million against Vargas, but his official purse was 1 million. Hearn questioned where the extra 1.5 comes from
    - Says Mikey is a genius, knows the industry inside and out, but wants a promoter.
    - Clowns Schaefer, asks what he actually does. Says one of his last jobs was to get US fighters in WBSS series 1, and to secure TV deal in America for the WBSS, and he failed on both counts

Eddie does a similar amount of shows in the UK, and he has...what? 4 or 5 big names? AJ, Bellew, Brook, Khan, possibly Whyte as well. Bare in mind that he would actually have 10 names to play with instead of 4 or 5, because the guys I mentioned and the guys you mentioned could cross over to the UK and US shows.

If you consider that he will do 4 HUGE shows, and 12 decent shows from that 16, it makes sense. These guys will each fight probably 3 times a year. The huge shows will probably each have 2 big names on them out of those 4 or 5. And the decent shows would have 1 name on them each.

So say..broner fights 3 times a year. He will fight on 1 huge show and 2 decent shows. Then the same for the other 4 guys, whoever they might be. That makes the huge shows filled enough, along with lesser talents on the undercard. The decent shows will then be either involving 1 big name headlining the card, or no big names but lots of average names, probably sort of like a nxtgen show. 4 or 5 names doesn't seem like a lot, but bare in mind that not all the shows will need a big name. Some (probably 3 or 4 shows a year) shows will probably just be there to showcase young american/foreign talents.

    Another Hearn interview on IFL.

On Wilder he says September doesn't work for Showtime, but they're still talking:

For a while, PBC was doing something similar: a couple of huge shows a year, some decent ones, and some obvious showcases.

Hearn can learn from what did and did not work in PBC, apply it globally, and try to expand upon it.

I think part of reason he’s saying only 4-5 stars is because he’s found it harder to sign big names than he thought, but I think he’s had a lot of positive talks with other promoters about loaning fighters out to the platform and that’s why it’s suddenly oh they might just come over for one fight, generally Eddie has always had good working relationship’s with other promoters and managers.

I dont get that. If the fight is taking place in the UK, the US TV Ratings are obviously going to be Low because of the Time Difference. Is that a sign it's going to take place in the U.S ?

My guess was that it was more to do with having Canelo / GGG pencilled in for September?

Richard Schaefer is a genius, self made and a don in the world of investment banking.

Eddie Hearn is essentially a glorified car salesman, wheeler dealer type con artist who basically struck it lucky with Joshua and has built his business using his dad’s money.

Hearn is getting too big for his boots, I think there’s a chance he could get jumped in América next time he visits for business. He’s pissed off too many people, Finkel, Dibella, Schaefer... these guys have gangster connects who would sodomise Hearn and send him packing back to Brentwood in tears.

    lol

Schaefer may be self made but at this current moment he isn't doing **** in the world of boxing.

As for Gangster connect, stop with the BS. You talk as if the these guys have hitters on retainer, get real!!!

I noticed yesterday Hearn said Broner tried to holla back after the so called slave contract and Hearn said he aired him.

It still wouldn't make a difference as Joshua-Wilder if in the UK, will be a Afternoon fight in the US- so whatever you do the ratings will still be very low, it wont make a difference. Canelo is Fighting on Mexico Weekend, so Hearn and Showtime already know not to put the fight then

Hearn like his dad is a expert in Accounting. He is highly educated in that department so is no mug when it comes to dealing and projecting with numbers. Hearn is actually very good mates with all of them (Finkle, Di Bella, Haymon) it's all just a con. I remember during a IFL Video a couple of weeks back, Lou Di Bella was calling him on his phone. If they really hated eachother, do you think they would be talking/phoning eachother esp when Di Bella is irrelevant in the Boxing World. Your going a bit crazy with your Hearn/Joshua hatred .
