His timing sucked. He couldn't put his full power into shots because Canelo is the superior technician of the sport. He highlighted Canelo's strengths more than any other fighter has before him and simply just looked busier while Canelo was tired.

Canelo was good but not active enough to win. Golovkin outlanded him in every round if I'm not mistaken and was the aggressor whilst Canelo who was defensively sound 2as negative for 2 thirds of the round.

G is old. Canelo was good. No **** Sherlock. G was overrated and his measley 187 rounds over his little 10 year career consisting of mostly Friday night fighters is no real excuse of his slippage.

It's the competition and all this fight really did prove was that Canelo is the more versatile fighter that's not limited to "Mexican" style as G is. His stamina was the only minus.

Canelo was offensively and defensively superior. This G fad saga is literally pretty done and will be wrapped up come the rematch.
