your 100 percent correct , the most talented musician of all time, and one of the most talented boxers of all time i think floyd would consider that a big and well deserved compliment
Poor statements. Floyd not a true 147 pouder? HUH? He couldnt make 144 and he clearly looks at home there now. ...andnot the 'size has nothing to do with it' rubbish. Lack of boxing knowledge right there
I think Floyd's days at welter are over ...I just hope no to see a Hopkins vs Mayweather fight at another catch weight
His days at welter are numbered because hes too afraid to face men his own size.. Man up mayweather or forever be known as a talented cherry picker!
Floyd was right on point about Mosley. He is 38 and has 5 losess. Also, he is very desparate (wantding to fight Pacquiao for under 147lbs and comfronted Mayweather about a fight as soon as Floyd won his fight), and he is definitely a steriod user and could still be using for all anybody know because he hasn't been tested regularly.....
One thing that can be said about Floyd right now, is that he has all the skills to be one of the greatest pure boxers of all time, and yet his style and attitude will ensure that will never happen. I don't know why he feels he has to mention Al Hayman in every single interview, or why he has to talk about **** no one wants to hear (reality show? music label?), or why he refuses to challenge himself. I predict that unless he fights both Mosley and Pacquiao (or Cotto), in 20 years no one but hardcore boxing fans are even going to remember him.
meh... He uses a fighter a beat fighter b analogy for Marquez and why he doesn't think Pacquaio is a worthy opponent (ignoring the whole 'styles make fights' stigma and forgetting that by this logic, what Kostya Tszyu did in 2 rounds to Zab he couldn't do at all must mean Kostya would have KTFO you) He brings up the past about Shane Mosley yet refuses to face his own in regards to his ridiculous comments He says RJJ should fight Dawson over Hopkins cuz he's a bigger challenge (clearly he doesn't understand the term 'irony' - Pac, Cotto, Mosley, Williams anyone?) And he comes off as someone who is more interested in money than boxing. All fair enough, it's his life, his mouth he can do/say what he wants. How he comes off is another matter. Great fighter, but a bit of a douche.
WoW! He beat the best lightweight in the world. He should try and beat the best middleweight in the world.
when people say the weight made a difference, we are talking about the 10 extra pounds Marquez was carrying around. That would slow any man down, and thats why it was not competitive. Either way he probably beats Marquez, but at Marquez's natural weight of 130-135 would have been more competitive. That fight was just a payday for both of them if you have not figured it out already. atsch
