Was a 21 or 14 or 7 day cutoff on blood testing with unlimited urine testing an unreasonable compromise?
Yes, Bolt was tested the day of... WITH A URINE TEST! They didn't take blood from him right before he ran you jackass. I never said that they didn't give random blood testing either you sidetracking troll. I clearly said that they did... WAY less often than they do urine testing. You used Bolt as your example and you were wrong. They all get tested by way of blood and urine. My point is that they give urine tests WAY more often, and they don't draw blood from somebody right before they compete. Hell, even after the big deal that they made about Floyd and Mosley they didn't test them from 18 days out until the fight. There is a real simple reason for this. There is NO NEED to test someone directly before a fight or event. You are supposed to test them directly AFTER. If you just test them before, then they can get cranked up on anything that they right before the fight, but after the test. If you test them directly afterward, it shows what was in their system during the fight. Of course I don't disagree with testing during the training either, which is where it helps the most. However, like I said... urine testing is just as effective for this, and hair samples work even better. So, there is no reason why Pac agreeing to do that every day as well as agreeing to take blood tests including one in the locker room directly after the fight wasn't good enough. That is more than sufficient. You are losing this argument... and losing it BADLY.:yep You should stop.
Of course it's reasonable, if this was really about a level playing field and cleaning up the sport, then this would be more than acceptable. Of course, this is really about Floyd and his ego, and everyone can see that except his sackswingers
First of all dude they will not test every day. The whole point of random testing is that they have the option to come when they want as many times as they want. Thats it. Thats all Floyd is asking for. That will keep Manny and Floyd from risking it and taking something and that is why Manny should agree to it and have his team agree in the negotiations. One thing you said was test after the fight. Do you put a condom on after you ****? No you put it on before so you don't catch something or get a chick pregnant. Mosley was doping for years and they didn't over turn any of his wins bc he never failed a test. For me Manny should just say I am not taking OSDT and I will take the test I have always taking. Just say that instead of flip flopping and suing people.
So now Floyd is worried about getting pregnant?:think I never said that they would test every day. I said that Manny was WILLING to give urine tests and hair samples every day... which is just as effective as giving blood samples. You keep jumping from one "point" to the other. Mosley wasn't caught beacuse the drugs that he was taking weren't able to be detected by drug testing. It doesn't matter how many times or ways you would have tested him, it wasn't detected. That's just the way it is, and only people who don't know any better can't realize it. The drug makers are always ahead of the testers. You can't test for a drug that you don't know exists, especially when you can't even detect HGH yet and athletes are on HGH like it's Gatorade... and the people giving the tests know it. This is all complete bull****.
Well you are forgetting that Floyd was the one who gave Manny the 14 day offer and Manny refused it. He had his chance for a cut off. I will admit that Floyd could have accepted 7 days but Manny could also agree to no cut offs. They are both at fault.
In terms of the negotiation timeline, you may be correct. But really, who cares? I thought this was about making sure it's a fair fight and Manny is not on PED's. And testing up to 7 days before the fight, ulimited urine, and testing immediately after the fight, would be more than enough to accomplish this goal, case closed, end of story. right?
The reason Pac lost the first Morales fight is that Erik was still in his prime. After that, Erik lost all his hunger, having beaten every man he had fought, and just did it for the money. Look at fights 2 and 3 with Pacman: doesn't Erik look like he doesn't care?
:nono According to Ellerbe, the decision to add the OSDT was not by Floyd Jr. (or any Mayweather) but it was made by Haymon and Ellerbe. ...and notice the date. The request for OSDT was made when Pac already agreed on or about Dec. 7, 2010.
atsch He already said in the interview that the only thing holding up the fight is the test. Learn to read.
The media have claimed that pac has agreed to do any testing in order to fight mayweather. He even joked he would do it in between rounds. So when negotiations hopefully start again after the mosley fight I don't want to hear a squeek about cut off dates. Because if that happens then it is PAC ducking and not floyd. Remember Pac has gone on record and agreed right? Or will you *******s change your tune?
