You acted like blood tests hardly ever happen and they weaken athletes massively, which is blatantly not the case otherwise they wouldn't be using them pre-race in the Olympics, which they have done.

No one is proposing blood testing before the fight, they are proposing random testing so that the boxer doesn't know when they will be tested so they can't cheat. Like you said Mosley's last blood test was 18days out but he didn't know if he'd be tested in the last 18days or not so couldn't risk cheating. Its pretty simple, random testing makes it harder to cheat and blood testing shows up some PEDs urine does not. Hair I'm not sure about the specifics but I'm pretty sure from my reading not all PEDs show up in the hair

 

No it isn't reasonable based on the fact any Olympic athlete who made that demand would be disqualified from competition. 7days probably isn't enough time to cheat, but Mayweather in his ignorance believes it is enough time to cheat

Bottom line, Manny could have this fight, just agree to the same testing every Olympic athlete agrees to and based on the Mosley fight the testing isn't anywhere like as stringent as Olympic testing anyway
