New Fox News Floyd Mayweather Interview

Its 2009, nothing wrong with trying to find new ways to promote a fight. Although, Floyd aint stupid, so he must know consensus is that he is going to beat Marquez. Every little helps garner some interest and make more money.

Also , I think the fight with Pac obviously has more bad blood. With Manny being P4P in some peoples eyes, the media darling and Roach in his corner. Just wait for the trash talk to start as soon as that fight starts

When the hell did Floyd Snr get back with Floyd? Isn't he tarnished now after how he handled Hatton?

Also good to see an actual serious interview from Floyd instead of the usual selling, showboating Floyd, he looks relaxed and focused.

 

Bottom line is, why go down 2 weight divisions for an opponent if you're so great? If boxing fans got to choose Floyds next foe, it wouldn't be a guy with only two fights at 135 going up to 143. The fans choice would most likely be Mosely or Williams. No matter how much Floyd and his admirers want to make this fight seem interesting or vital, it's just Floyd stacking the deck in his favor, as usual. So whatever interview he's in, it's the same old blah, blah ,blah. But a real fight is nowhere in sight.
