He's as bitter as the inside of a lemon. "I didn't pursue Bellew because everyone in this office told me it wasn't worth it." - more like the fact he's ****ing skint and realised he was wasting his money on something so trivial and pointless. "The Band of Brothers, the keyboard warriors, on the internet caused the split with Burns." - more like the fact that he's caused Burns over the last few months loads of grief, frustration and loss of money. "I offered him (Kell Brook) two world fights and he declined them both. I didn't offer him a new deal because he was too difficult to deal with." - why the **** would Brook, or any other contender, turn down a world title fight? He didn't bother to build Kell up enough and then cast him and his career aside like a used tissue. Demented old *****.
Frank just comes of looking worse when he trys to defend himself in these interviews. he is a PR disaster. If a bunch of posters on ESB and an upcoming journo on twitter are enough to cause your best fighter and ticket seller to leave you and join your main competitor, that really doesn't say allot for your business and relationship with your client.
The funny bit was where he was talking about Eddie sending fighters abroad to fight for world titles, Frank said something about you should have your fighters defending at home where you can get hometown decisions :rofl bit of a slip up there Franky.
INGRATES!! His reasons for pulling out of the Bellew case was genius, nothing to do with the fact he couldnt stump up the dosh up front then as required by the court?
I'm not sure, I think it could just be more bull**** from old Allegedly. Kell under FW was WBO mandatory when Manny Pacquiao was WBO Welterweight champion and still an absolute beast. I can't imagine a fight between him and Brook was ever seriously discussed in 2010 so FW's chatting through his arse if he thinks he could have got Brook that fight. Why would Brook have turned down any other opportunities to face other world champions at the time? 3 years ago the other belts were held by Andre Berto (WBC), Senchenko (WBA) and some bloke called Dejan Zavec (IBF). Brook could beat all of those guys, even then.
I have got to be honest, Franks interviews brighten up my day, delusion and spin on a grand scale every single time.
Ingrate! It's just depressing watching these videos with Frank chatting absolute shite, who everyone knows it is bar him
Yep noticed that, don't worry though he'll soon **** that up with his matchmaking and general arseholeness.
Haven't seen this but does he mention the phrase "No win no fee" in it? Frank needs to be more positive- it's like he thinks he is living in boxing's equivalent of Enemy of the State currently.
