true, he hasnt fought anyone worth ****, just like damn near ALL prospects with under 20 professional fights.

i dont care what u say, u cant deny his raw talent. at least he doesnt ever struggle with these bums. if he was ever in close fights with these guys, then yeah, feel free to criticize. but hes sparking these dudes and clearly showing hes on a different level. hes handling business and doing exactly what hes supposed to do at this stage of his career.

coming from fighting these "bums" to a fighter like Juanma would be a HUGE step up in competition. only a straight up hater would criticize this match up if it went down.

ur a hater, but your actually giving GRJ props and rate him very highly as a fighter based on the fact u think he'll run thru Juanma. :yep:yep

 

Russell is good and fun to watch but those T-rex arms are going to be his downfall.

It will be fascinating to see how he adapts that style against top flight competition. No gamboa or salido gets blinded or intimidated by speed

That dude is so wide open when throwing combos.. Can't wait to see a guy who can actually counter against him..

 

He obviously has impressive hand-speed and raw talent, and he's doing what he should be doing against these opponents.

His reach, or lack thereof, is a little concerning but theoretically he could be okay if he has the speed to get in-and-out before his opponent can get off. He landed a couple of decent counters, which will have to be a big part of his arsenal against top calibre fighters.

He clearly can't go straight to fighting someone like Gamboa but I'd like to see him against a good B-level fighter in the next year.
