We have champs who are willing to fight eachother, there's not much ducking. Don King is largely out of the picture (unlike the 90s) so we are closer to having the fights we need.

Sooner or later Vitali is either going to retire or he will lose, then little brother can try to take belt #3 (or vice versa).

Plus half a dozen or so decent prospects, a couple of them from the US. I think the next 10 years in heavyweight boxing look promising, better than the last 10.

Francesco Pianeta's my vote, he stays in a shell pretty well and explodes on his opponents. When he hit the dragon, he flew all over the place. I think he needs to be a bit more active in his fights and gain some more experience and he'll be something. You can learn to box, but you can't teach size or power and he has both in spades.

  4. What types of drugs are you smoking, snorting, inhaling, or taking. Solis will be dominated by KINGPIN Kevin Johnson.....Solis barely lasted against Julius Long, he was winded after 4 rounds. KINGPIN will dance around this bloated, raft jockey and send his arse back to Castro land.:rasta

Totally agree with that. everytime i think of a potential threat to the Klitschkos the name Cammarelle pops up in my mind. He reminds a little bit of the south african Corrie Sanders in style and he doesn't seem to have any problems with taller guys either (Price and Zhilei in the latest Olympics for exemple). I hope that he changes his mind after the WC. Another amateur that I like to see in a proring soon is the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

I also like the Cubans Solis and Perez even if Solis of course got at least 30 pounds overweight. But he got so much talent, so I don't like to count him out yet.

A couple of other novices who haven't been mentioned but might be worth to follow a little closer are Kimdo Bethel, Nathan James, Scott Alexander, Alexis Santos, Cristian Ciocan (Christian Hammer) and Vyacheslav Glazkov.

Tor Hamer and Mike Perez belong on that original list as well. To me, Pianeta and Kaufman are more than a few levels down from those guys.

Second pro fight against Bernard Mwakasanga, can't tell much from this video to be honest the opponent is not up to much.

I like Mike Perez who should be back from injury real soon, he fought with shoulder problems for almost a year and has had surgery to fix the problem so he should be back and ready to go by late September/October, i hear he is absolutely tearing at the bit to get back in the ring and Tyson Fury is most definitely on his radar.:good
