I have long been an admirer of the Cleto Reyes lace and velcro mix glove, however, they have stopped making them and now only make either velcro or lace up.......So, as i am looking at a new pair, has anyone tried the new Everlast Protex3?

I have to say they look the bollox and as someone who constantly has wrist problems i think they might be ideal.

    Any experience with them?

nothing will last if you use your sparring gloves on bags.

Did you use them for sparring or for bags?

Both. They are really well made and are still good after years of abuse. Really need new ones now though.

Everlast sucks, dude. Overpriced and I hate the hand positioning in all their gloves. Stick with Reyes, you can at least count on them lasting.

Maybe the velcro ones are built differently.

All i hear at my gym is not to buy Reyes because they ware out really quickly, the inside of them bursts, causing your hands to get burns ect.
