I once trained at a spot ran out of a garage, and they had about 5 guys doing amateur bouts. How do you think they were able to do so? Maybe just registered as fighters?

Get ahold of Isaac Tadeo, he is a pro boxer that trains in the Seattle Boxing Gym.

Tadeo will assist you with all the proper procedures, rules, regulations, etc.

My first boxing club was over a pig style and the second one on a canal bridge.at both clubs only the head trainer had an ABA coaching certificate.any body could second him.
The club I coach at now also doubles as a circuit training gym so doesn't have the same atmosphere or smell as my old gyms.
Coaches these days have to have a first aid certificate as well as having had a police check.
Having any boxing experience seems to be secondary as the courses are full of un-boxed people.
At my current gym out of 4 coaches im the only one who has ever competed.
