I've been working at the offices of Boxing News (a british boxing magazine) for the last week, and stumbled across this absolute gem of a picture, which, to our knowledge, has never been published before: This content is protected I am told this was taken just after Greb was involved in a car crash, around 1925. Thought you's might enjoy it.
:good Very well thanks mate. I'm only helping out for a fortnight or so, but it's thoroughly enjoyable. I've started a thread on the Brit where I am sharing some more pictures I've come across, so have a look over there for some more :good
Excellent. If 1925 is accurate, then it is interesting that he was still wearing his wedding ring though a widower by then.
seems to be booming mate. They have a new addition out soon regarding the top 100 boxers of all time (hense the pictures), and everyone seems more than happy working there, which is a sign business is well. But like i say, i've only been there a week
That's good. That's really good. I wonder what their top 100 will be like? Probably ****, but you live in hope
If he'd had more than one car crash, Klompton would have been able to tell us exactly when and how long he was in:-(
A top 100 list is always ****. Damn, I'm not even happy with my top 10! I've seen the list, and I'm not happy with it. But then again, no-one at the magazine is happy with it, as everyone has had to compromise certain things. Boxers have been moved around more than ever. But the write ups are sure to be a great read which makes it worthwhile
I can't give anything away I'm afraid. But Langford does make the top 100 I think they are hoping to have it out over the next month or so. I'll keep you posted :good
Floyd will be in the top 10, I guarantee it. I reckon Calzaghe will be the highest ranked British fighter. I'm definitely going to buy it, and then use it to motivate me to finally commit suicide. Good work though Vano :good
