Yeah from reading the posts on this site you would think May staggered to his feet at the count of 9...after going down... But in actuality he won every exchange after that punch....

 

Wow that was great insight.... Richardson is a hell of a trainer.. said all of the right things. Floyd was hurt quite badly I think but came back strong obviously.

He was hurt and end of story. Every fighter gets hurt sooner or later. If Mosley would have jumped on him like he did with Margarito, PBF would have most definitely gone down. He pressed forward instead of holding or running. This made Mosley think he was not hurt. What would have transpired if he did go down, who knows. The talented fighter that he is, he would have just shook it off and did what he did that night.

 

The fact of the matter is Floyd is no Margo, he HAS defense. Mosley was trying to jump, Floyds just too smart, even with bells ringing.

Point is that Mosley did and tried to jump on him like he did Margo but
Floyd blocked the punches cause obviously he wasnt as hurt as Margorito was after the intial blow. Mosley jumped on May on the ropes but to no success at all cause Mayweather proceeded to block his next punches.

I've watched enough boxing to know when someone smells blood and goes for it. I know PBF is good, but in my eyes, Mosley did not jump on him like he should of. I know guys this is not Marg, but if I was Mosley I would have done whatever it took to drop him. He asked for the fight and he got it. When I mean go for it, I mean all hailmarys to the arms, head, body and even roughhouse him. Whatever it takes. Now you have Pac and you know Roach is telling him to go for the kill if you hurt him like Mosley did. If it actually comes to fruition, Mosley is going to kick him self in the ass. I am still going with PBF on a late stoppage unless the above can transpire.
