This fight is what some fans love, it's all about the science of boxing and Mayweather had a wonderful night. And this is coming from a Shane Mosley fan, you have to give Floyd his respect finally at this weight.

not saying i aint giving him creds, but come on bro you know it was a boring ass fight........

is boxing was only about that, it would've never been what it is now......blood and guts warriors is what makes the sport spin, not safety first type of fighters

I personally like all aspects of boxing and this right here was pure science of boxing at it's best. Of course we all love to see fights like Vasquez/Marquez or Ward/Gatti, but you have to appreciate great minds in the ring, it's like watching art and that's what took place. Many like myself thought Mosley could have been that guy, but Floyd beat him with so much ease and that my friend takes a lot of skills and talent. Trust me right now Floyd has many supporters, but also millions hoping for his fall and that brings viewers:good

hey, i like it too....but i guess i hate it on a man that doesn't give us fans what we want, yet talks so much ****en **** and makes millions of dollars.....while others are suffering and literally leaving their lives in the ring......

call me a hater, but that's how i feel abou it....i have a passion for the sport that not many have...

Man sometimes I forget how good even Floyd's JAB is...unbelievable.

He puts such perfection into it...he puts his weight behind it but barely even shifts his body, it's so subtle.

So I guess you are part of those millions:D Having passion is one thing, but you also have to be realistic and unbias to really love and have passion for this sport. Im also part of those millions but this guy has a real chance of retiring undefeated, he lives and feeds on the spotlight. Not many fighters could handle that.

I'M glad i'm witnessing one of the best fighters ever in my lifetime...but really though, i just can't seem to buy into his style....

i'll admit that i've been watching floyd only to hope that one day he loses......

I liked seeing the new angles. Mayweather smirking and shaking his head while his legs were still shaky.

floyd boxing really is boxing at it s highest level. anyone with a good chin and power can box like a gatti, etc. many great boxers are great due to physical gifts. floyd greatness is his physical attributes but mainly his skill. as was said on a podcast- watching floyd is like watching an artist- the trouble is- who the **** wants to go to a museum and watch art. we wanna see action. id like floyds style- its a clever style- but i d buy into it more , not if he got hit- but if he hit the other dude more at least! he does the bare minimum to win rounds whereas pac fights to put on a show and take the guy out- to really **** the man up- thats what wins boxing fans. if pac or whoever, had the personality or wanted to - they could conceivably jab the other guy 5 times and run away for the rest of the round had they the ability- but i think most peoples emotion, personality and thirst for combat gets in the way and they just want to fight. i think floyd isnt a fighter at heart- he s an athlete whose sport is boxing, a boxer obviously. but he s not a guy who relishes in making the other man bleed, and gets turned out when he s cut etc.

i think public opinion has turned on him so much though that he is trying to engage more- which i love. i liked that at the end of the fight he said he wanted to give fans what they wanted to see and that this was the new floyd. who wouldve thought, floyd giving fans what they wanted for 40 million bucks!

    Cheers.

Nazim provides the most consistent and sensible corner advice I've seen to date. Class trainer. Even when he's getting heated he seems to do it in a genuinely energising way, and with sound, helpful comments.

Floyd's corner, on the other hand...

Ellerbe: "Keep breakin' that ***** down..." (I'd love to see him try calling Shane that to his face.)

Roger: Box that motha****a, don't worry 'bout that, box 'em.
