I think Joe wins this one early and cruises to a UD because Bernard always starts slowly and Joe never does anythng slowly. So i think he will build up a sizeable lead early and cruise to a UD.....By the time Bernard picks it up it will be too late to catch up ...

Anyone that thinks Bernard really is some kind of racist is a ****ing idiot. He did this same **** with Trinidad, Tarver, and Wright. Works pretty well, gets them all pissed off which plays right into Hopkins's plans.

Anything Hopkins did at middleweight really doesn't apply anymore. Since moving to light heavyweight he's been FAR more active (through 750+ punches in his last fight), he has more power, energy, pretty much everything despite getting older and older.

we will see if he can fight hopkins on the inside.and when he throws his flurrys he does tend to slap almost in a windmill type of fashion.watch the peter and lacy fights to see him in slap action.
and his punching power is decent but hes not a ko puncher infact he does not even break his oppents down when hes throwing 1000 plus punches a fight.he hit lacy over 1000 times in that fight which was very impressive but at the sametime a good puncher would have stoped his man with have those numbers through out the fight.

all im saying is he does tends to slap when he lets his hands go and his power is decent or average at best.so he want ko hopkins, he could not stop lacy with 1000 landed so i know he want stop bhop and you can bet ur ass he aint gone land 1000 on bop maybe 200 if hes lucky.

other then that, i think joe is a beasty as fighter.good boxing skills has a granite chin and never gets tired.slick south paw, joe is a beast.top 5 p4p and the best smw in history of the sport i think.

i still dont think he can beat hopkins, but ive been wrong before so we will wait and see.

That was actaully a good stoppage as mitchell had taken some serious shots after getting back up and was knocked off balance a few times.

Anybody who doesn't think Hopkin's is a racist is an idiot. Making statements, decisions or thoughts based on a persons race is RACIST.

I must admit, even though were supporting opposite fighters, and tend to disagree with most issues, im getting fed up/bored of waiting now, it seems like forever that Ive been waiting for fight night, and finally the countdown begins! Good luck mate, JC UD in a better than expected fight, and I'll be here to eat **** if it all flies back in my face :deal

That was due to accumulation. I have seen this one so many times and Lacy in real trouble in rounds 11 and 12. I don't know about the broken nose but the first time I saw his head really snapped back was when Calzaghe pushed him into the corner and Lacy tried to punch back in that position where he should have not - Calzaghe was faster and beat him to the punch with a left hook.

Your hate is wearing a bit thin now.

Anyway, I expect Calzaghe to win a UD but this is his toughest fight yet. If he does win, I hope he gets the applause he deserves for beating Hopkins, no matter how damn close the fight is.

If Hopkins wins, then I will no alternative to sing his praises to all who'll listen. As great a fighter as he is, to beat (even a declining) Calzaghe at 43 is a magnificent achievment. He knows this.

How is that hate? You're just fishing for reasons to quote me & reply. Frankly I think you're a little obsessed. Don't worry, it's not uncommon.

I'm glad you feel that way though because it seems Joe, Enzo & a lot of his fans think Bernard is rubbish rendering a win over him meaningless surely.

I ain't a fan of Hopkins' style but anyone who says that he is not effective, that he's rubbish or that the fight is gonna be a walkover is obviously pretty damn ignorant or clueless.

Maybe you should try telling that to the hoards of zealots or even Joe himself. Thats the thing I don't get about the way Joe & Enzo are attacking Hopkins as a fighter. If it's that easy why fight him? I find them very disrespectful which is why I'm hoping Joe & Enzo pay for their arrogance.

Calzaghe TKO's old man in the 9th round.
