    This sounds great, I think Alex and Kali would both be good, but meehan has been out of action for a while now.

    5/ Richel Hersisia.

    with 3 more to fill out the final 8.


    ...and Holyfield, Rahman, Maddalone rumoured.

    our heavies will do well in short 5 roounds especially leapai,kirby,browne & bagin edwards

    I actually think this format might be big in the future.

    It would be great to see an Australian Format with Australian fighters, adn then have the heavyweight winner of 7 other countries fight each other.

    Jesus if Holyfield goes into the Prizefighter it will be sad as he is such a great who everyone loves. These prizefighter shows are just for jokes like Audley Harrison and nobodies like Martin Rogan to appear in.

    I'd doubt it, he was refused a licence for a fight with Tyson Fury in the UK this year so I can't see why that would change. Plus Prizefighter's format would be tough on his stamina

    There was nearly one of these heavyweight tournaments held in Australia a few years ago.

    A website was set-up for it, and fighters names were bandied about, including early rumors of Tyson being a part of it.

    The website soon disappeared. As did every other trace of the tournament.
