I'm a big fan of Dubois, another fighter whose boximg goes under the radar. He's a different fighter again than the one who beat Hrgo last time. I suspect they will manoeuvre Gasiev in Croatia then Kaba in Germany before a massive unification v Dubois, assuming he comes through Wardley, in Britain. Lots of meat on the bone for everyone with those fights

Now you say this - weirdly Hrgovic has a path to undisputed

I think he beats Kabayel who has become very overrated in my humble opinion. A good fighter for sure, but beating a one legged Sanchez, who lets face it, we'd have to cut in half and count the rings to gauge his true age, and a chain smoking marauding zombie whose idea of cardio is walking to the fridge does not validate the reputation he now has as a divisional bogeyman...

Dubois is a fundamentally sound real unit with extremely heavy hands and the best jab in the division outside of Usyk albeit the heaviest one and most consistent.

He has 3 loses on his ledger but 2 are obviously to Usyk and even though he was fortunate to beat Hrgovic likewise he was unfortunate against Big Joe Joyce. Take Usyk off his resume and he only has 1 loss he would be held in even higher regard

That would cool if they could get Gassiev over to Croatia for a unification match up. I think Queensberry will try their best to get Moses a completely undeserved rematch though after or maybe before Hrgovic vs Sanchez. Team Hrgovic should put their foot down and insist on unification fights vs Kabayel or Sanchez because Hrgovic sure as hell wouldn't be getting a rematch if the roles were reversed and Hrgovic deserves the opportunity to move forward and have legacy fights

Yes, but the more likely scenario is he could have fought in spurts & still dominated.
Not overwhelmingly likely, but consider those who write about how Hrgovic has deteriorated.

He did not look so bold & good, but had a good strategy that was well-implemented-easily the most likely to victory-of trying to wear Itauma out.

You must not be aware that the term "Chinaman" has a loooong history of being associated with racial slurs.
Used in derogatory, discriminatory & mocking ways, in tandem with such laws as the Chinese exclusion act, used to strip them of individuality & humanity.
Often paired with mocking their accents & social status.
Nobody from the far east finds it much different from other racist language, like g**k.

Perhaps from experience he knew he needed to be taken out on a stretcher

Whoa you were NOT lying that was a UGLY body shot. If Itauma didn't enjoy boxing before he has to HATE it after this fight. There were a lot of body shots like that in the 9th round as well but the brits were dead quiet and acting like Itauma was just tired. He was getting bludgeoned.

The manner in which he beat Zhang got people excited. Which, in all fairness, was an excellent display against a dangerous fighter.

A lot of people complain about the amount of "fabricated" champions due to Usyk giving up his titles. But I think it's terrific in terms of match making. We'll get interesting eliminators and some fun unifying boxing bouts.
