Read a review yesterday in the N.Y. Times, but can't post a link. According to the reviewer, the thing that stood out most were the pungent quotes from Johnson.
It seems to be a book of Johnson's life, in his voice, put to poems ... as w the Jeanette book, is this a bio or fiction ? It's marked as poetry by a poet.
Adam, with all due respect to the author of Big Smoke, they are not even in the same classification ... the other, while it may be terrific, is a poetry book in story format about Johnson .. absolutely cannot wait for yours. I will be the first purchase.
