New James Toney video from March 29, 2008

I'm a big JT fan but also a realistic one. Toney is 40 now. I don't see him being a serious contender considering (especially at HW) his age factor, inactivity and poor physical conditioning. Perhaps if Toney gradually lost weight and went back down to CW or Lt. Heavy he could have a little something left.

If anything Toney should be fighting obesity not autism.

 

Not a bad idea, IB. I would like to see that. But honestly speaking Byrd should have fought Toney at HW back in 2003-2004 when Toney called Byrd out on several occasions. I still would like to see them at Lt. heavy if Byrd does well next week.

 

Toney's last shot was when he got flat out robbed in first Peter fight. Having to fight it a second time killed him and he didn't perform. Now he's on the out and will never get his hands on one of the four big belts.

 

He ruined it himself by coming in fat and exteremly out of shape.

Im a big Toney fan but he ruined his multiple chances. Steroids against Ruiz then Fat against Rahman and Peter. Come on atsch

Well... he's still a fat f*, but he was a fat f* the last time as well, and I'm glad his doing some sparring, especially for charity.

 

Maybe Byrd will get bored when all the big names duck him at LHW and meet James halfway at Cruiser?

 

That was a cool video, and it's great that Toney is helping out those kids.
