this may be true but they should have found evidence of shitty judging and reasons to not let inexperienced judges get started with a fight of that kind

Very nice of them to recognize Mr. Williams "competitive spirt".

Whatever guys, atleast the judges were suspended which is a step forward and the people recognize that Lara won. He was even moved up in the Ring rankings. Thats good enough. A win in paper is good, but life moves on.

The judges are just suspended until they receive additional training.

Basically, they're saying although there is no evidence of fraud/corruption, the judges need additional training on how to score a fight.

Yep - In my opinion they should make the decision a NC. But they've already said they're not changing the decision.

it tells us exactly what its said in that letter, they did not provide the best judges that night, however they are limited as far as what they can do....

and let me say something here, Judges do not have the same view as viewers on TV do, neither do ring side viewers...

Example, I was just ring side for the Antillon Rios fight, and watching the Cintron fight from where I was seated it didnt look to me that Kermit was being dominated, However they did most of the fighting by the nuteral corner on the opposite side of the ring...

When I watched the fight on TV, my god Cintron clearly lost that fight and suddenly I saw alot of shots that I was not able to see being there at the fight that close to the ring....

I see your point; but Lara was landing countless huge lefts in the center of the ring. Not sure how they missed that.

The judges didn't have the compubox numbers, didn't hear the HBO talking about Williams retirement and didn't saw the replay after each rounds.

Lara went for the KO, while Williams boxed in his usual way... which is a very judge pleasing kind of way of fighting as we saw in the past. They saw Williams's constant agression and didn't have the compubox numers to prove that he showed no efficacity in his agression. Lara would've won easily if he followed some of his big left with a quick combinations here and there. He went for a big one punch KO like Martinez did, but couldn't pull it and ended up fighting the kind of fight that's not that enjoyable from ringside.

I did my best to not listen to the HBO crew and score it on my own, like if I was one of the judges and I had it a draw. I almost gave the 10th round to Lara, which would've made him the winner on my card 115-113.

I saw it as a close fight because Lara couldn't KO Williams and didn't follow with anything after his big left. Do I believe that Williams got his ass kicked ? Absolutely, but it did not reflect on the scorecards as much as it should if Lara fought a little more intelligently. I hope he'll get a rematch.

No you are correct, I mean there is no way they should have gotten this wrong... I am talking about a fight that was an entirley different set of fighters both with different styles....

This fight there isnt much of an excuse here, I had given Lara 9 rounds

It tells us that they needed a fall guy (3, actually) but the real criminals will never be touched. Same as it ever was.
