After watching a couple of the HBO Legendary nights series from 2003 i was wondering if they released a new series, which recent fights (last decade) or ones from the past that weren't in the first series would be included??
I was asking what fights if they ever released a new series do you think they would include this time around?
Those programs were awesome. There needs to more! I bet they could make a great one with the Klitschko-Lewis fight. It causes enough discussion on here and it was almost a decade ago now
Barrera-Morales Trilogy Morales-Pacquiao Trilogy Gatti-Ward Trilogy Mayweather-De La Hoya Cotto-Margarito Taylor-Pavlik I Klitschko-Lewis
I'd love one on Hopkins-Trinidad. Great build up with the press conference tussle and flag incident and a great performance. Struggle to think of fights on HBO pre 2000 that would be possibly be put on, Hamed-Kelley is one i could think of.
Are they going to make a new one without all the myths? I don't care that much to see episodes on the recent fights. I don't need to re-live that. HBO has had boxing since the mid 1970s, so I'd rather see episodes on older fights.
it would be great to see another series of legendary nights. here's my picks (all fights shown on hbo) holmes-spinks tyson-spinks trinidad-vargas gatti-ward pacquiao-de la hoya margarito-cotto chavez-rosario hopkins-trinidad forrest-mosley tarver-jones holyfield-cooper, smokin' bert comes within a whisker of being the heavyweight champion of the world.
