I am at home going over some things on my "have to do list" and one of them is to clear the million voicemails that I have on my home phone... Have not checked my voicemail in weeks... :good So I dial up, checking voicemails and all of sudden I hear Floyds voice on the other line... He says: "Hello boxing fan, its me Pretty Boy Floyd. Please tune in to my world championship fight on ppv this saturday against Ricky Hatton on PPV! etc.. etc.." I am like :shock: ... Oscar has taken his promoting to a new level. Not sure how the hell:yikes did they got my number, probably from some database or something... But that is crazy! Just thought I might share and ask if anyone has received this call as well.
Did you try and talk back to him, and then sadly drop the phone when you realized it was just a recording? I would've called Floyd a ***** :yep
At least it wasn't Oscar's voice. Your girl would've had to check her fishnets drawer if she heard him on the machine.
They probably got your number from HBO - through your Cable Provider. I used to get calls like that too - for big fights. Hasn't happened in a while though.
