I cant. He will be shitting himself and running to the loo every 5 minutes, because he will realize what he has done. His conscience will take over. That dreaded brown letter marked by FWP will be through the letter box Monday morning. And it will be ****ing signed for n all!!!

I'm with FWP on this. Hearn gets far to much milkshake on here, its time for someone to take a stand and support Warrren.

If it's just me, so be it. Some of the abuse he and Bunce get on here is uncalled for. And I will stand up for what is right.

Can't wait for Frank to come out and say: "I decided to let George go"

I cant click on that link mate. Not that wrag.

All I can say is this, if he is still under contract, Frank wont let him get away that easily. We've seen it a million times already.

We will find out more soon I reckon. TBH I wouldnt be surprised if Groves thought **** it, If I stay I am stagnating like the rest, if I'm in contract, **** it.

But he cant moan, his last fight was a good fight if you ask me. He cant complain. It looks like this has been on the cards for a while, I doubt this was an overnight thing. They'll be wanting to make that Froch fight next whatever happens, I reckon they will get Groves on the Barker bill just to keep him fresh and get him on Sly Sports.

That Froch fight was cherry picked ages ago, they've wanted to make it for a while, this just makes it that much easier......Groves sparred Froch, and Froch has had enough rounds, its such an easy gimme fight for Froch in what they will say and sell is a "top domestic scrap" and they know it!

Thats why Groves has gone to Matchroom in order to make the fight. DeGale rejected the sparing, because he knew why they wanted it. Not for fight prep, but to figure out up and coming challengers for Froch. Groves sparred, hook line and sinker. Carl Froch is holding a full house.

Groves vs. Froch in Nottingham in the summer at the City Ground. :deal

    Froch in 3. :deal

    Fantastic move for Groves.

Frank does not possess a pot in which to ****.

His career can finally get going.

If only Burns, Cleverly etc could move on.

I think it [the announcement] will shock the the world a little bit” said Hearn “I think he’s really, really going to strengthen the team; it’s a big name. It’s a world level guy.”

Doesn't sound like Groves to me.

Haye wouldn't sign with a promotor, hasn't his whole career and is at his strongest now...only possibility is a deal with Hayemaker and Matchroom, meaning Groves mainly.

That sounds like he's bigging up Groves. What would be the point of The Sun scooping it otherwise?

It's not Haye but it will be a partnership with Hayemaker and a deal with Groves. Easy platform back to sky for any future Haye fights that way. It's a great move all round I think. Eddie talked about the Froch undercard in past saying he wants people to see these guys and go home wanting more and wanting to come back and see them again. Get him out on the Barker bill and then with the help of Saureland the Groves-Abraham/Steiglitz is easy to make as chief support. Great fight and great undercard suddenly.

  12. AA wont be fighting groves on no undercard

But a certain misrable looking scotish man might

Ooooooh could that be why he dropped the British title?

I was told a while ago that Groves didn't get paid within the contracted timeframe and could have left, so Booth got the contract re-written where he would be paid a percentage upfront. If it wasn't his contract would be terminated. Not a shocker and others have said it in this thread and before.

@Craney91 regarding Joshua, it just frustrates me when people write him off as a pro because of the robberies at the Olympics. To qualify and compete at that level after 4-5 years boxing is seriously impressive, he is only 23 I think and there ALLOT of posatives about him.

@Anabolic Lion. I have been critical of Hearn several times this month.

When Groves signed for ******, Hearn said they were interested until they found out that Golden Boy owned his international rights. Has that deal ended?

Yeh I wonder why GBP's new UK arm were not first choice.

Perhaps getting Groves over from Frank is such a statement it was worth getting him in.
