So Sky switched it up. Hattons & Maloney couldn't keep up, thats why they were dropped. Frank jumped ship. Hearn was what was left.

Thats my point. Hearn got the Sky deal by default rather than going out of his way to screw other promoters.

What was the biggest attendance for a show that Maloney & Hatton did while on Sky? Price vs Sexton 4,000 at Aintree, Quigg vs Munroe 3,000 at the Veladrome. Thats a small show for Matchroom these days.

totally agree with most Hatton and Maloney shows really poor and where killing sky boxing i thought, something had to be done when FW left so they backed Hearn big and it seems to have worked but i still dont think they are putting on any better than FW was doing in the main

Pure speculation but there is some logic to it.

Barker vs Lee has long been rumoured for some time.
Allot of reports say Groves will fight on the Froch card, and its been mentioned on here that kenny will get the call.
Joshua to Matchroom also being rumoured.

Would you be happy with that card?

 

Well, I'm not fussed in Joshua, but that would be an excellent card, with two genuinely excellent matches. It might almost pass my PPV test.

 

Scene article said Groves' contract stated his purse had to be in place before fights and this hadn't happened. This meant Groves could break free of the contract and sign with Matchroom.

 

I was being a bit sarky Rob. Frampton-Quigg was your chief support for Froch-Kessler II a few weeks ago.

 

If Rob's predicted card happens Lee/Barker and Groves/Anderson II plus Joshua's pro debut would all clash with the CL final. Not ideal.
