Not sure. Even if he does, Groves fights domestically until he wins a major title. Can't see Eddie spending money on GG (and he earns well) just to put him in with Froch. He'll want to build a next generation for George and bag another champion.

If it is Groves, its hardly a major signing, its only "major" in their eyes because he has been poached from another promotion.

If im brutally honest, its an awful signing if true. Because he is well overdue a beating, and will more than likely get beat brutally a few times. If you ask me, they would only bring him in to make an easy fight with Froch and possibly a rematch with De Gale.

If one fighter needs to switch, desperately. Its Ricky Burns.....Ricky Burns would make sense for both parties. Scottish fighter in need of better management and fights, fills a gap in the market for Matchroom in Scotland. Ricky is very popular in Scotland.
