mosquito - I posted elsewhere that I thought Marg would attempt to back pedal and try to catch Pac coming in. Using his reach to his advantage. Will be jabbing but I feel it will be a faint jab.
Yeah, I really like how Roach tries to mimic pac's opponents even when doing mitts (unlike others, say Floyd sr in an orthodox stance when doing mitts with hatton)
I don't like the way pac stands there behind a guard and invites punches. He does better when he uses his legs and head movement, like in the DLH fight. I think he does that on purpose bc he can take the shots no problem but still not a good habit to get into, especially against a big guy like Margarito.
he only did that with cotto if I remember correctly (and a bit against Clottey but that was because clottey was barely punching). against Hatton he was mobile and very aware of not just standing in front of Hatton. I'm guessing against Cotto he just wanted to test himself, I doubt he'll do that against Margo.
Yeah but I also see him doing it in sparring alot. I think he just likes to fight and show he's tougher then the other guy. Not a great habit though. I like when he uses a lot of headmovement and moves his legs, eg the DLH fight.
