Why do you care what others think of what was a true whirlwind in heavyweight history, who wasted a whole host of at best average fighters in the 80s who were boring as ****, that for me is what made him exciting, i care **** all what he did outside the ring, its inside it what made me ****ing love the man for a long time
A prime tyson causes lewis to **** himself he would be all over him, ali would beat him, but he for me beats fraizer and would be in a all out war vs louis
Lennox Lewis **** himself???? atsch Lewis had what it takes to beat a prime mike and would do so probably 7 out of 10 times
:huh Eh right ok mate, was it not you who just posted some link to something tyson did as a CHILD :rofl, yeah thats gonna stop people loving him when he was in the ring
No chance, would be a brutal beat down in favour of iron mike, he ****ed up his life a long time before he met against douglas, if rahman and mccall can ko lewis so could a prime in form tyson
I was just simply asking why Tyson generates so much pity from people. The guy made hundreds of millions of dollars, broke laws constantly, hurt people badly yet many many fans feel sorry for him today. Just want to know why :good
I thought Iron Mike was the greatest of all time as a kid growing up. But when you get older, you realise that he was nowhere near that. Bonecrusher Smith took him all the way, Ruddock took him all the way, I think Lennox would expose & eventually knock out a Prime Mike.
Ok fair enough, for me being here in the uk, i used to love watching itv sport to see him box, i and a load of mates stayed up all night when our very own frank bruno took him on in there first bout, for me hes one of my first live boxing icons, him bruno, and nigel benn were what made me a true boxing fan
Of course theres that very chance, but i like to think of him a human wrecking machine, his like dont come about to often, dont think ive seen to many boxers KO guys in such brutal fashion, also dont think ive seen a guy with such a aura of menace about him, going back to the bruno fight i mentioned earlier, poor old frank was terrified looking in the first and second fights (this time knowing what was coming)
Dont think any ones saying its a big deal, and hes hardly ancient is he, ive seen some real old athletes still in great shape, at the end of the day its his life and thats all that matters
You're right in that, as a spectacle, you couldn't get much better as a child of the 80's than Mike & Benn. I have great memories myself of watching them knock guys out left right & centre on ITV. It's just that with age, I've become a realist.
