In what proved to be a tense but exciting affair, unbeaten Pound-4-Pound Superstar Floyd "Money" Mayweather and his challenger, 6 time World Champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero both managed to make weight ahead of their May 4th showdown. "Money" tipped the scales at 146lbs whilst "The Ghost" came in slightly heavier at 147lbs.

After an intense stare down which lasted almost two minutes, neither fighter willing was willing to back down as both appeared supremely confident, ready for tomorrow nights main event. The 5000 strong crowd cheered ferociously and provided an electric atmosphere fitting of a fight of this magnitude.

World Champions Abner Mares and Daniel Ponce de Leon both made weight for their upcoming bout, weighing 126lbs a piece.

Leo Santa Cruz and Alexander Munoz also made weight.

Gabriel Rosado and Daniel Ponce De Leon both failed to make weight the first time they stepped on the scales, although on second attempt Rosado managed to make the 160lb limit.

Floyd looks fine , its Robert who looks soft as **** … Robert is still caring a good deal of fat around the middle.. I expected more from a guy fighting a p4p fighter in one of the biggest boxing events of the year.

Agreed. Robert, from what we know, was cutting 4-6 pounds for that weigh-in and still looked a bit fleshy.

I expected him to look a bit leaner, but it could just be the way his body carries the weight. We'll see tomorrow night.

Its what happens when you are 2 weight divisions from where you should be fighting.
Thats why it took Marquez so long to fill in at the weight and still only gets to 143.

A in shape Guerrero would be fighting at lightweight.

You think that will be his game plan? Some people think Guerrero will box Floyd.

So he is out of shape, and that's why he is going to lose..?

It's just his genetics, if Mayweather moved up to 160 he would not be fat.

Hes going to lose because hes not good enough, but if they were the same size it might make it a bit more interesting.

Thats why this fight is so laughable you have a guy literally brings no attribute physical nor stylistically to make this fight interesting and hes fighting 2 weight classes removed from his optimal fighting weight.

Same reason why i won't watch Wlads fight, its a pointless fight vs a pointless opponent.

Extra weight means noting if you don't have the strength to use it. This could backfire mid round when its gut check time.

Floyd legs are bigger and stronger then Berto's . Berto iMo has bird legs which is why he looks like **** after 6 rounds .. Robert may be in for a surprise coming down the stretch of this fight.

Guerrero was strong enough to bully a full fledged welterweight who got busted for steroids.
