So Floyd says he’s retiring after the Berto fight. And this time he’s serious about it.

So what can boxing fans look forward to after September 12?

As a retired boxer, Floyd will have to relinquish all titles, and there will be a new #1 P4P King.

When will all this happen by? A week after the Berto fight or will Floyd resist and not really retire so he can hang on to his titles? After Pacquiao, Floyd said he would be relinquishing all his titles but that didn’t happen.

So, if we are to take Floyd as a man of his word, this is his last month as P4P #1. If we are to believe Floyd, then he will be retiring after Berto, and we will have a rebirth of the Welterweight and Jr Middleweight divisions, and a new P4P #1.

Even the haters acknowledge that at 164lbs or less nobody has much of a chance to beat GGG at all. He is currently the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world in my estimation.

Gonzalez is already p4p #1 according to anyone who actually watches Boxing. He's 2 by the ring, so he'll be #1 soon.

GGG first need to beat somebody, you can't be number 1 By beating Murray,Geale and Macklin.

Your argument is weak.GGG fanboys are hilarious, and also often Floyd haters.and claim he cherrypicks.this boy GGG is coming the biggest ducker ever soon.man is 33 soon 34 and retiring in 3-4yrs?and biggest win is Murray.let be silent a moment and have a good laugh.when this man is going to step up?or is he waiting the small boys Cotto-Canelo?nope that won't do it.GGG has nothing under SMW.hell try to get next year Badu-Groves winner even.hands down would be biggest win of GGG career(let's laugh again)MW is so sad it's not even funny.maybe Hopkins will take GGG and then again we could laugh.when 50yr old man takes this most overrated fighter ever to school.i don't even would give Hopkins much credit for this.GGG archieved nothing.(win comparable to Shumenov maybe)

Roman Gonzalaz or Wlad since there #2&3 should rightfully move up, as far as the future though I think Gonzalaz, Alvarez,& Crawford end up being the standout P4P fighters of the next era.

So you admit that no fist fighter in the world can beat GGG at 164 or less?? I read your entire stupid post and that seems to be your main point.

I lost my v-cash on Cotto-Martinez and Wilder-Stiverne. Who did you pick in those fights?

if canelo wins and fights ggg next and ggg beats canelo, ggg's stock will skyrocket.
the skills and wins are already there. now needs the right matchup.

I really like Roman Gonazlez, but I hope he loses so Wladdy can finally get p4p #1.
