1. Floyd Mayweather - Retired Shmired, this guy is coming back and he is still the worlds best boxer. 2. JMM 3. Pacman 4. Williams - Yup Yup :yep 5. Shane Mosley 6/7. Vasquez/RM 8. Hopkins 9. Cotto 10. Dawson
Because while Pac has wasted time beating a paper champion at 135, JMM beat the lineal champ. And while Pac wasted more time beating a shot corpse at 147, Marquez knocked out the #1 contender & former undisputed champion. Hopkins is too low for me. I personally have him at #3, but wouldn't have him out of the top 5. Williams is a bit of a push at #4, yes Winky was a very good win but doesn't push him up that many places, not to say he doesn't have the potential to be that high. Dawson I feel shouldn't be top 10 yet, top 20 yes, top 15 at a push but can't see how beating Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson in a close affair pushes him above other guys. Good to see somebody finally rate Marquez next to Vazquez. People need to realise there was nothing to seperate these guys in the trilogy, one stoppage win each and a SD win for Izzy that could of gone either way, personally I thought Rafa won.
ok the williams hype is isane..who had he beat to put him over hopkins, dawson, cotto, and mosley???be serious people..beating an old man coming of of a 2 year layoff doesnt make you p4p#4
I think he did win the second fight. And out of the two fights, he won a shitload more rounds. He may have lost the decision, which is based on a 10 point must....but he won the fights.
and why is floyd all of a sudden at #1 again? even if he didn't officially retired, he would not keep his ranking if he is not fighting.
