Please accept my apologies for trying to point out that Lindland was not such a small HW.

 

They had better wins before and especially after the key fights.

 

Florian - Long time LW contender but was old when they fought

Miller - Current contender, good win, but I don't see how you can put it over the domination of the aformentioned

 

Florian wasn't especially old when they fought. I guess the proof in the pudding on that one will be how he does after, if he gets tooled in every fight like Arlovski has then fair enough. He's fighting a live contender in Nunes in his next fight so if he wins that I'd be inclined to disagree.

Miller has been on an absolute tear since losing to Maynard and had only lost to Edgar before Maynard.

Lindland was NOT a heaveyweight full stop. Arent you one of the guys who say Fedor at 235 lb is small for a HW and is amazing because he beat bigger guys. Then your going to make a case for a guy being 7lbs over the LHW limit, not being small

Edgar and Miller are better if you take them as just wins (Maynard probably should be UFC LW champ right now), but for me Fedor's dominance plays a factor. They were not the quality of some of the Pride wins, but he clearly outclassed his opponents.

 

Aoki glasses through what I said, I never said that Fedor is a LHW, the way he beat guys stands on its own. I was correcting what you said, that Lindland was 185lbs when they fought, and that his 212 was just from not cutting down. That is all. If you have better things to do, go do them.

I wasn't big upping them, you just asked who is notable wins since 2005 were and that is them. I'll be the first to admit I'm a little bit biased when it comes to Fedor, I still think he should be in the top ten though.

 

T(hat's fair enough fella. If he'd had beaten either Werdum or Big Foot, one loss wouldnt have made me rank him lower eithe. But persoally for me he needs a few win to get back in as much and as I love him, you cant really live of past glories forever
