Either way, what is your point? If he does as you say, fight at 147 but weights 165 fight night, isn't this the norm for a welterweight? Cotto did this, maidana did this, ortiz did this, shane did this....

I don't understand your point, welters generally weight 160+ fight night so I'm not sure what your saying? If we believe floyd, he's a small welter, if we believe you he's a normal sized welter (comparing to others weights) ??

Was Pacquiao a "legit WW" when he was fighting at 130 pounds? Because his fight night weights were over 140.

He weighs in at 165-170 because he drains himself if he didn't drain himself to make 147 it would be more than 165-170

But you just said 'people can weigh more/less than they look' - depending on their body composition. Does it not ever enter your mind that floyds on those guys that make look a little bigger but weighs less? If you knew anything about muscle/lifting/bodybuilding you'd know it's all an illusion. You'd know that actually by being smaller (losing fat and being leaner) you can actually APPEAR bigger but in actually fact your smaller....

If you are able to weigh in at the limit of 147 or below, you are a legit welterweight.

A "non-legit" welterweight couldn't make the weight.

 

So everyone at welter are natural middleweight then because that's what they all do..... Again your not making sense, your trying to prove floyds a natural MW while saying he weigh the same as all the other WELTERS (this isn't fact, his fight night weights say different to what your saying)

It would be crazy for either fighter to show up in terrible shape for this one. 5 years of nonstop badgering from the public and media about each other should be more than enough motivation. Add to that the insane amount of money and publicity involved, it really can't get any bigger in this era.

 

Yes because if he couldn't do it then he wouldn't make 147 lol :S especially at 38... it becomes more difficult to drain with age..... you talk some real rubbish

 

its very easy to drain yourself to a lower weight class that is not your limit surly you know this?
