The scoring system didn't work too well last season. I think the bonus Wins/KO's introduced too much of a "luck" element to predicting and made it a pain in the arse to keep track of. So options are... 1. Wins/Losses/KOs system, picking winner and method with no bonus's 2. Wins/Losses/KOs system, keep the stoppage round prediction but just award a bonus KO 3. Points system, e.g. picking winner to get 1 pt, winner and method to get 3 pts, and winner, method and stoppage round to get 4 pts. Whatever system is decided on will also be used for the cup.
3 is the same as last year, just with a different name. It would still keep the luck ellement. 2 would work the best I think. Because the total wins will only correspond to the total correct overall predictions. As soon as you loose that it is hard to tell who is the best.
Thibnking about it why not do a TKO for a correct method and a KO for the correct method and score/round. Have the extra column and then you would really be able to see who is the best!!!
Are you really worse at predicting fights than someone who nails the KO round if you predict a stoppage in the 6th and it happens in the 7th? That was my main issue with the scoring. Option 2 is fine but if you do well you could end up with more KOs than wins, which would make no sense at all. So maybe 1 would be fairer, but I voted 2 because in other prediction leagues I seem to pick the right round quite regularly. :yep Nice work keeping the league going rooq.
