None of us know the full story, regardless of what we have read or heard in the media. The story has chopped and changed many times from both camps.

Therefore, it is better to wait and see exactly what it was in his wraps that was deemed illegal.

 

I have not heard of any blocks being inserted into the wraps all I have heard was there were two pads that were firm and stiff. **** keeps on spinning but what I find very strange is nobody has come forward and provided the evidence collected, not even a picture of what they took, not even in the court room did they have the damn evidence and if they did, obviously it wasnt shown to the press, Now why is that? I mean usally when a man is on trial for a murder they show the weapon right? usally they show the evidence and have the lab results in by the time the hearing comes. What happend here?

 

Exactly. It doesn't take 2 months to get results back from a lab to confirm what a substance is. They could've had all that $hit done already. But unfortunately, they're bull$hittin. I think this case gets thrown out.

 

I am telling you there is something very suspicious about this investigation and I am not saying this just to defend Margarito this could be anybody we are talking abotu in the sport, the reality of it is the hearing and punishment handed down is backwards, I am really starting to think it was just tape, but the commission who made a huge deal out of this along with HBO stressed it so much that even they now have to cover their tracks....

I am starting to think they got this **** to the lab and the lab tech ran the test and said its just old gauze. I am thinking CSAC got results of the test back that they didnt want to hear.

 

Yep. Plus look at all the cheating thats going on right now in sports. Now that this has happened in boxing, and since boxing didn't take advantage of other cases(Mosley, Toney) I think boxing is trying to make up for letting those guys get off easily and also are trying to be like the other sports by making an example out of AM.

 

Unfortunately the Margo haters have already got an excuse lined up if Margo should be cleared of these allegations - have you noticed how they are starting to question the ability of the CSAC now that the evidence isn't quite as clear cut as they all originally thought (back when they all launched into moral outrage mode)?

Well, if this all turns out to be bull****, of course, they won't accept that Margo is in fact innocent, they will instead claim the CSAC are inept and are covering up the fact they ****ed up by not inspecting the handwrapping process closer. :yep

 

Exactly~ and I think that GBP and Mosley is really pressing this issue because its obvious that Mosley and GBP have big money to be made considering he does have the WBA title, you do know that there is a reason the Margarito vs Mosley fight happend in California dont you?

They set it up in Los Angeles becuase they were un sure if the commission in Nevada would suspend and or fine Mosley for his steroid case. GBP did a great job in keeping Mosley protected from the commissions and yes they are making up for alot of mistakes in the recent past and Margarito is as Fox would say the scapegoat.

 

Yep. They want to make an example out of AM. But its messed up if they screw this man over. This man has a family, house, bills, I'm not down with anyone losing their job, or even being suspended from their job.

But Phelps got lucky, maybe AM will have success too.

Exactly. When the final results are in, it will likely show there was no "plaster" as all sorts of irresponsible people, both in the media and outside of it have suggested - and that there is NO evidence, none whatsoever, that even the moistened gauze was used in other fights.

This case has been a classic example from the beginning on how lynch mobs operate - acting on the basis of unproven alllegations to make all sorts of wild conclusions.
