I just had an idea. Yeah that's right.

Anyway, this might have been covered before, but I thought it would be an interesting exercise to populate a list of perhaps 20 categories (perhaps less) one would use to accurately rate a fighter. Upon compiling a list of attirbutes, we would then turn our attention to a given weight division or even a comparison of just two fighters to determine mathematically which is better. This kind of thing has been done a hundred ways, I know, but for instance........

Power (left hand): Frazier scores perhaps a 9, whereas Marciano might score 8, or whatever.

Power (right hand): Frazier 7, Marciano 9 perhaps.

Stamina: Frazier 9, Marciano 10, and so on.

At the end of plugging in your numbers over the number of categories, you add up the total and come up with the higher score, and hilarity ensues. We might be surprised with what we come up with.

So........what are the 20 categories (or thereabouts) we should use to rate a fighter? Any consensus?
