Joke of a ranking with Ortiz at 4...

Would like him against another of the top 10. Pulev, Whyte, Povetkin, Ruiz jr etc..

That rank is just there to make Wilder look good, it shouldnt be taken seriously.

Luis Ortiz must be signing with Golden Boy (who own Ring magazine) again.

As I posted in another thread, all the Wilder bashing in recent years has provided a lot of cover for fighters.

While Whyte fans and Povetkin fans and Fury fans and Joshua fans have all whined and moaned about Wilder, Wilder's loss pulled back the curtains on most of them. Look at that top 10. Wilder has already fought the champion once this year and is fighting him again in the summer.

    * Joshua has one fight lined up this summer against Pulev (who isn't ranked by Ring).

    * Whyte has no fights lined up. And it'll be March on Sunday.

    * Ortiz has no fights lined up. And it'll be March on Sunday.

    * Ruiz has no fights lined up. And it'll be March on Sunday.

    * Povetkin has no fights lined up. And it'll be March on Sunday.

    * Joseph Parker is fighting Shawndell Terrel Winters (whoever that is) on Saturday.

    * Michael Hunter has no fights lined up. And it'll be March on Sunday.

    * Adam Kownacki has a fight in March against Robert Helenius, last seen being knocked out by Washington.

    * And Oscar Rivas has a fight with TBA in March.

That's your heavyweight top 10 nearly three months into the new year.

When are most of the others going to actually fight? Are they on the one-fight-this-summer plan like Joshua, too?

Let's see how many screw around until the summer. And lets see who goes the "Shawndell Terrel Winters" route.

Half that top 10 could vanish by summer given how inactive they are.

Frankly, I'd put the winner of Joyce-Dubois ahead of Parker, who seems to have milked that controversial decision over Andy Ruiz for about four years now.

The UK HW scene is very strong for so few HWs.
When you consider there are only 52 HWs listed for the UK.
To give an example there are 334 listed for the USA.

Outside the top 3 there are some decent HWs like Chisora and great prospects like Joyce and Dubois

I would possibly change the ratings but only my opinion and worth nothing

I wouldn't debate Fury at 1 and Joshua at 2.
I think Whyte could well be at 3 and don't disagree, though could imagine that an argument could be made for someone else.
I think Pulev should be in there

Okay, that's fair enough to say you value Wilder for fighting often this year, fighting Fury twice. But let's see if he does. And let's see what the others do. Fury-Wilder 3 hasn't been officially announced yet and any one of those fighters above could be announcing a fight soon.

Ruiz seems to have something in the works (Ortiz?). He’s been posting work out vids lately.
