So, if he's a 'natural lightheavy' you're not one of these people who claim he was severely weightdrained against Dawson? Adamek could move back down now fairly easily if he wanted to?

Wouldn't argue with anyone slotting him in between 15 and 10.

I think it was around the 10th round that I said to myself, both of these guys should be in the top 25 of pound for pound, probably top 20.

I would group them closely, probably 15-22.

You seem a bit thick with that comment, though I recognize you as an Adamek hater right off the bat, so it's no surprise. Yes, Adamek was drained against Dawson, rather badly in fact.

Roy Jones Jr is a natural Supermiddleweight. That is where he fought in his prime, and that is his best weight. However, Roy has not fought there in years, because he would have to drain himself to get down to that weight.

That fact, however, does not take away from his accomplishments at higher weights. Being "the first former Middleweight in 100 years to capture a piece of the Heavyweight crown" was not made any less glamorous for Jones simply because he could no longer make middleweight.

This is all basic boxing knowledge, I am surprised by your complete lack of it, frankly.

Lol, I don't think Adamek has haters, does he? I'm certainly not one. Adamek is certainly a natural cruiserweight at this point in his career - that's the weight where he is most comfortable and most effective.

Roy Jones is not a great example. His last fight but one was made at 170 and he weighed in a half pound inside the limit, he could make SMW reasonably easily.

Top 20ish. I don't think near top 10 yet but still.

It would be more accurate to say, Adamek is a natural light heavyweight who is best suited for cruiserweight at this stage of his career.

It amounts to the same thing. Probably could say the same about Cunningham too then.

Don't deny it now, you're a hater through and through. Just look at some of the threads you've made. :deal

You're right, a better example is Floyd Mayweather Jr. His natural weight was somewhere between 130 and 135 lbs. He was a beast there, but accomplished big things at higher weightclasses.

Even though he could not longer make 130 or 135, his accomplishments at the higher weights were made that much more imperssive, as he was naturally a smaller fighter than the men he was facing. The same applies to Adamek at Cruiserweight.

The common element here is what weight a fighter fought at when he entered his prime. For Adamek, this was 175 lbs, so he is facing men that are naturally 25 lbs heavier than him.

Are you understanding this? Or will you keep on trolling this thread?

QUESTION FOR THOSE SAYING HE IS OUTSIDE THE TOP TWENTY:

May I see your top 20 lists? In fact, my I see your list up to where you would rate Adamek? Meaning, if you place Adamek at #24, please make a list of your top 24 P4P fighters. If you have him at 28, kindly provide your top 28 list, etc.

Many thanks in advance! I am just curious to see which fighters you have ranked ahead of him.
