Eh? I think you're definately confusing me with someone else. I rarely 'make threads' for a start.

From memory, I've only ever made one that mentioned Tomas Adamek. He wasn't the subject of it as such, however, merely an example of how people rate fighters based on geographical location of their fights, rather than who they are fighting.

If Adamek establish himself as a champion at CW he will definitely go to top10
... just two or three good fights on the way. He may however take a short cut
and beat either Calzaghe or Hopkins to jump into top5 right away.

That's not got much to do with it. Cunningham regularly weighed in in the low 180lbs range for nominal 'cruiserweight' contests in his early career. Before he started fighting at title level Adamek weighed in several times over 180lbs for nominal 'light heavyweight' contests.

I suspect Cunningham could have boiled down to light heavyweight if needed, as did Adamek. Even in recent title fights Cunningham was 193 for Wldoarczyk and under that for Huck. He's by no means a big cruiserweight.

Its difference between being big and being fat.
Cunningham will have to take some magic pills for going down below 175lb
he has no fat to burn out.

WoW these questions sure make their rounds on the boards.

    Exact same question
    Exact same poll

Exact same answer, outside the top 20

    Alittle on the spot.
since I dont believe I have done a top 20 list on here before.
how bout for the sake of time I just give 20 fights I'd rank above Adamek (thus he'd be outside the top 20)

20 Guys I'd put above Adamek
    This content is protected

    Pacquiao
    R. Marquez
    JM Marquez
    Williams
    Margarito
    Cotto
    Dawson
    Hopkins
    Calzaghe
    Hatton
    Taylor
    Juan Diaz
    Pavlik
    Vazquez
    W Klitschko
    Abraham
    Calderon
    Darchinyan
    Mosley
    Solis
    Montiel

I am not saying Adamek wouldnt have an argument about being ranked higher than some of these guys, but its not a slam dunk that he is over them. Plus there are guys who I have not listed that have as good an argument as Adamek does.

So all I have to really go on when there is no clear argument either way (just a matter of degrees) is my gut, and it still has Adamek outside the top 20

    Don't think so newb.

57% have him inside the top 20 or higher, with a large minority voting him in the top 15. :good

I find it hard to believe he makes a top 15. David Haye does not make top 10's, barely seemed to rank in top 15's etc. Overall, he has been far more impressive in his performances too.

Adamek has won tiltles in two divisions now, which is never easy. With Haye leaving the division to campaign as a heavy Cunningham was the man at cruiserweight. The naturally smaller Adamek won in a thrilling contest so I give him #15.
