Matching PBF with the ATGs at welterweight is a bit harsh. And he probably wouldn't be as successful as the Ring say.

The guy's had 5 fights of his 40 there though.

It's more fair to match him with the ATGs from 130-140, where I think he does quite well (but still loses to the obvious ones).

look again im not saying Floyd beats all these people....but i do know he holds his own and gets some W's.

Im sick of people making it seem like todays best cant fukk wit yesterdays. Because he hasnt been knocked down doesnt mean he wont get his whooped the whole fight. Know what a headbutt and elbow is...come on man....really..so if you aint partaking in that type exchange your not tough?

and im not forgetting anything...this is why you cant compare today and yesteryears because the era's are to far apart....Floyd has learned off these guys he seen what they do best and worst. Fighters today DO NOT HAVE TO FIGHT 8 to 10 times a year because the money is better today....fighters fought so long and so much back then because they HAD TOO..its what paid their bills! If they fought this era we would be singing the same tune with them as people do with Floyd and oscar.

People also forget back then they fought everyone because there was only ONE belt so you had to go through everyone.

There were no subdivisions so alot of the fights where inevitable.

You put todays fighters in todays era and they definitely wont fight that much because they'd make millions and a lot of the great matchups back then gets cut in half becuse of the subdivisions and belts out today.

You can give credit for bravery but in the end if you got your ass whooped u just got your ass whooped it doesnt make u any better cus your tough it just mean u can take a ass whoppin.

Floyd does not win all those fights but he sure as hell can compete.

and on top of that Floyd has said his best asset is his mind meaning its not just about skill its about outthinkin your opponent....so i would have to say that he goes into anyone of those fights knowing a great deal about the opponent and fighting a fight to his advantage coupling that with his skill, speed, and footwork and he makes most those fights competitive.

In no way did you take in my argument.

That if the fighters of Yester Year got the things fighters get today they would be more rested better equipped.

NO you didnt. You went straight back to Floyd has more skills and is better mentally.

How do we know Floyd wouldnt get his ass ****ing whooped.

Name me one and i mean one opponent of Floyds in his whole career that has any of the boxers listed strength, mentalitiy or skill.

    Name me one.

that was ur whole argument...the fighters are TOUGHER..that shyt means nothing if your the other fighter is just better.

again that list was comprised of ATG's.....name me all the ATG's that floyd could have fought????????????

and if i go back to floyd its because the thread is about Floyd vs those fighters...why would i not go back to floyd he is the topic.

and i didnt say floyd has more skill and better mentally i said he has just as much skill and boxing IQ.....and i also stated he could also lose these fights but i also believe he makes them competitive...and could possibly when his fare share.

So your saying Floyd in his 40 Pro fights has more Boxing IQ than a Hank Armstrong in his 180 pro Fights.

    Yep that makes sense.

Another top statement from a Floyd Nuthugger.

I mean his whole 5 fight career at 147 against Mitchell a guy that was at the end and coming off a devastating KO loss to Tszyu, then a fight with Zab Judah who just lost to Baldomir, Then Baldomir who is probably the worst 147 champ ive seen in 30 years, Then he fights Ricky Hatton at 147 who is shocking at the weight, Then to top it off he makes a Featherweight fight him and Floyd comes in overweight against Marquez.

Mate if that is what you believe to be a Great at 147 go look at Henry Armstrongs record at 147 against Prime guys and even towards the end of his career when he pushed guys like Ray Robinson.

Actually i wouldnt be surprised if the fight goes ahead that mosley not only exposes Floyd but stops him so bad he retires for good.

I feel the Marquez fight showed me just how scared PBF is of losing and it mentally showed by him fighting on his back foot the whole fight and by him coming in over weight.

I feel all the guys on that list would have shown Floyd what boxing was about.

Everyone is buying into Floyds hype. I mean he looked ****ing scarred the whole fight against Marquez and came in over weight aswell.

Mosley i feel is going to take is Zero which will shut some of the hype up.

Lol...and like i said his IQ is on PAR or better then some on the list.

Floyd definitely competes with these fighers...period.

and please post where i said he was better than robinson????????
