apologies for that first part, i skipped a few posts but i checked back and I can understand why margarito and mosley didn't happen. i've defended floyd numerous times for the judah and baldomir fights and even for not fighting margarito. mosley was both their faults. cotto would have been a bad idea at 140 but it should have happened at 147 same as mosley should happen now, old or not. mayweather has a number of solid options right now and considering his influence and the money he brings to the table he has NO excuse not to fight a top welter. anything else is ridiculous and he has no reason not to. ANYONE would fight him for the money he brings now: if fights don't happen it's on him entirely
