Terence Crawford should be knocked down about 5 or 6 places till he fights some decent names.

He’s just beaten Thurman, if Spence is on there (and he’s too high imo) then PAC should.

    Just short off:
    Gvozdyk, Spence, garcia, briedis.

Wilder and Joshua doesn't belong on the p4p list because they are both just terrible

The Ring Magazine had Jeffrey Horn ranked #98 in their annual end of year Ranking the World's Best Fighters feature in 2017 as they like the vast majority thought he lost to Manny

    This content is protected

So in the last 4 years Manny has wins over Thurman, Bradley who was coming off wins over JMM and Ruslan, Broner who was coming off a draw against Vargas and a loss against Mikey, Horn (unofficial), Lucas (shot), and Vargas all of who sans Bradley IIRC were at least a weight class heavier than him if not more.

Whereas in the same time frame Spence has wins over Brook who was coming off a stoppage loss, a bad beating, back down from 160 after bulking up to fight up there, and a terrible eye injury and gruesome surgery to repair it, Mikey whilst coming off some decent wins at 140 and 135 is a blown up 135 pounder who has zero right being up at 147 and was giving away every physical disadvantage and not by a little bit either, career 140 Paulie level featherfist Algeiri who Manny had already bounced up and down off the canvas half a dozen times and was 1-2 in his last 3, and career 140 featherfist Peterson who should've been 1-2 in his last 3 fights and with the exception of Brook Spence was naturally the bigger man in all those fights.

But if we go back 2 or 3 years further, other than the loss against Floyd, Manny has another win over Bradley and wins over Algieri and Brandon Rios, whereas Spence doesn't have any wins over anyone world class other than Brook, Mikey, Algieri and Peterson, so Manny has only legitimately lost one fight since 2012 and that was against Floyd who is the second best fighter of his generation and was ranked P4P#1.

Does anybody even subscribe to a magazine anymore?

Magazines let alone a boxing magazine is so beyond obsolete it's not even funny.

Usyk cleared up cruiserweight fighting a better quality of fighters than Crawford did at JWW. His win over Bellew is better than anything Crawford has at 147. I don't see how Usyk isn't in the top 3. If he was American they would have him 1 or 2.

At least he's rising through the weights unlike another name on the list with no great wins.

Disagree with this. While one can debate the merit of the current incarnation of Ring Magazine, not everyone wants to do all their reading on a digital screen, and I think there's a place for longer form, more thoughtful articles that belong in a print publication. Going back and reading older issues of Ring is always worthwhile, there's a depth to the writing you don't often find on most forums or websites today, and it's nice to have the whole time capsule sense of things.

Bellew is trash. Horn and Benavidez are better.
