New RING magazine?

I got mine last week, has Pavlik on the cover. So far what Ive read it's been one of the better issues in a while.

 

Yeah, I got mine too, with the cover story on Pavlik. The friggin' thing fell apart as I was reading it. Maybe Oscar's skimpin' on the glue!!!! :fire

I'm thinking about calling 'em up and complaining myself!! I've never liked it since they stopped stapling the mags and went to the glued binding - but I've had an issue literally FALL APART as I was reading it!! atsch

And while yer at it - give 'em hell for cancelling KO, World Boxing and Boxing 200X too!!! I still haven't gotten over that one!!

Lemme tell ya, I've been subscribing to Boxing mags for over 20 years, and I always loved that I got like 4 or 5 of 'em per month. Now it's down to Ring, Boxing Digest (which sucks) and Boxing Monthly (British). That's IT!

 

That has happened to me a couple of times, where Ring mag fell apart in my hands.

 

I've had single pages detach before, after I've read the thing several times - but this time, pages were literally falling out in droves on the first read!!!! atsch I'd say half the magazine is single sheets right now. How the f*ck are you supposed to read something like that??? :fire

I pay good money for these friggin' things. The more I think about it, the more I'm gonna call 'em up and say send me a g-damn replacement!:yep

 

Me too, but this latest is only like my 4th or 5th issue since subscribing, so I didn't know they didn't used to fall the **** apart.

 

Up until maybe about ten or so years ago, they STAPLED them, so they were much more solid, you could fold them back without risking pages coming out, etc. MUCH better. I guarantee you these glued bindings don't cost as much - and now they seem to have gotten worse.

 

The mailman or one of your niebors is probably reading it.
