I have many, many others ahead of Vitali in my list, it is all subjective though, and in the main I like the Ring's ratings so I'm not too outraged.

Cannot believe Froch didn't get the nod. Probably didn't want to put him in that list given he might drop out merely days later if he were to lose to Ward.

Actually, it's you who don't understand the definition of pfp. It's based on accomplishments, domination, length of reign, quality of opposition. You can put check marks next to Vitali's name for all but the last one. The fact is, he has hardly lost a round since his comeback, while all the time fighting contenders from the top 10. Not many guys can say that.

Exactly. If Froch wins tomorrow he deserves a high ranking, no reason to put him on before that. Also, he's only two fights removed from a loss (Kessler) and three from a close split decision (Direll). Boxing memories are short (for the record: love him as a fighter, hope he wins tonight).

i dont understand, sheer dominance over what exactly? last time i looked wlad was the dominant champ in the division. im sorry but it really is a case of the division being that poor rather than vitali being that good, im mean sure his victories been impressive but when one guy loses because his knee gives out below him alarm bells should really be going off regarding the state of the division

What are Vitali's five best wins?

    This is ridiculous.

Take a look at those contenders. He has 3 good wins in 3 years. Peter, Arreola and Adamek.
There are many who have done as good or better.
Gamboa: Barros, Solis, Ponce and Salido.
Viloria: Miranda and Segura. Segura was p4p top 10
